316 stainless steel plate is a kind of austenitic stainless steel containing molybdenum, which is widely used in many fields.
Chemical composition: The main chemical composition of 316 stainless steel plate includes chromium (Cr) content of 16.0% - 18.5%, nickel (Ni) content of 10.0% - 14.0%, molybdenum (Mo) content of 2.0% - 3.0%, carbon (C) content ≤0.03%, silicon (Si) ≤1.00%, manganese (Mn) ≤2.00%, phosphorus (P) ≤0.035%, sulfur (S) ≤0.03%.
Performance characteristics:
Good corrosion resistance: It exhibits excellent corrosion resistance in many media, such as in marine environment, chemical industry, etc. In particular, it has good resistance to chloride corrosion, so it is often used in coastal buildings, marine engineering equipment and chemical production equipment.
High temperature resistance: It can maintain good strength and stability in high temperature environment. It has good oxidation resistance in intermittent use below 1600 degrees and continuous use below 700 degrees.
