304 stainless steel plate has a smooth surface, high plasticity, toughness and mechanical strength, and is resistant to corrosion by acids, alkaline gases, solutions and other media.
It is an alloy steel that is not easy to rust, but it is not rust-proof.
Stainless steel plates are divided into two production processes: cold rolling and hot rolling.
2B finish is cold-rolled stainless steel sheet
No.1 finish is hot-rolled stainless steel sheet
304 stainless steel sheet is a widely used stainless steel sheet, widely used in the manufacture of equipment and parts that require good comprehensive performance (corrosion resistance, forming). The chemical composition of 304 grade stainless steel plate contains more than 18% chromium and more than 8% nickel, so it has excellent corrosion resistance.
Differences between cold rolling and hot rolling:
Different surfaces: cold-rolled plates are processed by cold rolling, and the surface is bright and smooth; hot-rolled plates are processed by hot rolling, and the surface is oxidized, tungsten, and white, and belong to industrial plates.
Different hardness: cold rolling is softer, and hot rolling is harder. Cold rolling has better ductility, stretchability, and flatness than hot rolling.
Different prices: 304 cold-rolled plate is more expensive than hot-rolled 304 plate
Different specifications: The conventional thickness of cold-rolled plate is 0.3mm~6.0mm, and the thickest is 6.0mm;
The conventional thickness of hot-rolled plate starts from 3.0mm, and there is no upper limit;
The conventional width of cold-rolled plate is 1219mm, 1000mm, 500mm, 1800mm, 2000mm
The conventional width of hot-rolled plate is 1500mm, 1800mm, 2000mm, and non-standard width of hot-rolled plate can also be customized
Different uses: cold-rolled plate is thinner and is used more for decoration, gutters, pressed tiles, various mechanical equipment bodies, etc.;
Hot-rolled plate is mostly used in industry
